Joe Biden warns Russia who "will pay the consequences"

During a speech, Joe Biden clarified some of the sanctions that will be put in place against Russia. Canada is following suit with additional sanctions.

New salvo of sanctions announced by Washington, which raises the tone. The United States will defend "every inch of NATO territory", but will not send troops to Ukraine, US President Joe Biden announced after Russia's attack on Ukrainian territory on Thursday, February 24. 

“Our armed forces are not going to Europe to fight in Ukraine but to defend our NATO allies and reassure these Eastern allies,” Joe Biden said in a televised address.

The American president also assured that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin would become “an outcast on the international scene” after his decision to deploy Russian troops in Ukraine. He also claimed "not planning to speak with Putin", as you can see in the video below.
