The Godfather celebrates its 50th anniversary and returns to theaters and on platforms

It is a masterpiece of cinema which is celebrating its 50th anniversary and which for the occasion is returning to theaters and to streaming platforms in a restored version.

The godfather of Francis Ford Coppola is in the spotlight, a trilogy which marked several generations, but whose beginnings were chaotic, according to the director who affirmed Tuesday on the red carpet of Los Angeles " that nobody liked the movie originally ".

But the Corleone family story finally took the world by storm. Talia Shire, sister of the director, who played Connie Corleone, was present on the Los Angeles red carpet on Tuesday.

" I think Francis Coppola is the greatest living director on earth. I knew he had something of his own soul in this film, with all the conflict. That's what I understood, and that's why this movie has its own soul - because he put his soul into it," she said.
